Why does tribes3.org get so much attention?

Tribes3.org has been up longer than Tribes on Topic by a couple months. Thrax hangs there because there are less flame wars.
Hopefully he'll come in here with an update and that will put Tribes On Topic on the map. All it takes is one thread by a dev talking about the game, and it's plastered on gaming sites like Bluesnews.

I know they hold out for the magazine exclusives but an update would be nice. Fans have voiced their ideas, now we're waiting. It would be cool if they included the fans the entire way. And why not? Find out what pisses off the fans now, instead of when the game is in beta and it's too late to change anything.
 
The first thread looks like genuine vehicles discussion. There's some good back-n-forth there.

The second thread is total noob idiocy. Fucking Shifter players...
 
Think of it as somewhere to herd the Newbies. :shrug:
If you don't like it, don't go there. Problem solved.
 
I don't think this forum was created until after that thread was started. Thrax gets annoyed pretty quickly by all the dorks in general though, which may well be why this forum was created in the first place, so they could maybe have a few threads that didn't degenerate into "OMG T2 SUX" on the second page.
 
This forum got created cause t3.org got a scoop over the biggest tribes website ever ... tribalwar. Now to make up for it Tribes on topic was created. Hopefully marweas and thrax will post here ... i dunno tho .. there is lots of flames and stupidity on these boards and he might just say "fuck em".
 
both have already posted here. When marweas was on IRC today i asked him where the next Q/A would be and he said he thought TW, but that it was Menzo's call...

Thrax said he'd be doing another one in a couple of weeks, but it'd only be a single day.
 
Does it really matter where the questions are being asked? What matters is that they are being asked and some of them are getting answered. Its all fine and dandy that T3.ord has a forum up and everyone is chatting about T3.

didnt they listen to Tribalwar for Tribes 2 ideas (and beta testers)? If they did, look how great that turned out to be.
