It came from CDC.

Also, from your article:

Which exactly matches the image I posted.

So where is the >100k increase we'd expect to see if COVID was killing people at such a higher rate and they weren't just dying because you know... people die no matter what?
 
I linked the underlying data set, which has been further updated since May 12th.

just to be clear, you're arguing against the CDC death data with...their old incomplete death data
