Neither would have/will play. If we're down to findley as forward that means altidore, Gomez and buddle are all hurt. In which case we are fucked no matter if its findley or change or Casey. I'll be honest tho, i haven't seen findley play much.

I thought ej was doing alright in greece?

Also I got my white team usa jersey as well. Driving up to Philly tomorrow and Friday, in time for the Saturday match. Viva usa

Findley is shit, although I'm not too fussed about Ching not making it. While I do think Ching is a better option than Findley, I don't think either would see the field anyways.

If Bornstein plays I hope Bob Bradley dies a horribly painful death.

I think Gooch is a waste of a spot. He looked like shit last night and I don't see him gaining enough fitness to be anything more than a liability come 12 June.

I, for one, will be running through the streets with pure, unadulterated joy the day Bob Bradley is fired.

It's not ideal, but I'd go with a back four of Spector Goodson DeMerit and Bocanegra. I'd take Bornstein out into the bush and shoot him in the head and feed him to lions.

If Onyewu can get healthy then I'd love to see him out there. I just don't think he will. I think Goodson right now is better than an injured Onyewu. That's just my opinion though.

Michael Essien ruled out of World Cup

Ghana's World Cup preparations have suffered a huge setback with the news that a knee injury will prevent Chelsea star Michael Essien from playing in the finals in South Africa.

Essien sustained the injury during Ghana's African Nations Cup campaign in January and missed the remainder of the Premier League season as a result.

Ghana manager Milovan Rajevac said only on Wednesday he was "confident" Essien would play some part in the World Cup, but the nation's FA has confirmed the midfielder will not recover in time for the tournament.

A statement from the Ghana Football Association read: "An evaluation by a combined team of medical experts from the Ghana Football Association and Chelsea Football Club revealed that Essien will not make full recovery until the end of July.

"The Ghana Football Association wishes him full recovery and a quick return to football action."

Essien has started only 23 Premier League games for Chelsea in the past two seasons as he has been dogged by injury.

Sounder's friendly last night was a welcomed win, granted it didn't matter for anything.

I'm still in shock that Evans is an alternate on team USA. He's fucking full of fail.
 
So is anyone else hoping they can hit the ESP button and get to hear the World Cup in Ray Hudson's voice or even Arsene Wenger?
