[Bug] T:V Doesn't Load

I'm posting this for a friend (he doesn't have twar account).

The splash screen at the beginning loads and it stops there - he's kept it on for 5 - 10 minutes before exiting. His system specs:

1.5 ghz
256MB PC133 RAM (minimum I know, but minimum should still run)
256MB GeForce FX 5600

Any ideas?
 
Get a better computer....

j/k, I'm running T:V on:

Dell 2.56 GHz
512 MB RAM
30 GB HD
No 3d Card whatsoever :)

Gotta love that last bit...but this hulk chuggs out T:V like it's NOTHING...with all graphics turned down, but I digres...
 
I was having the same problem and it was firewall related. If he has zone alarm, he may need to open it and go under program control and then allow the vengeance program to access the internet. He could also try to do the same thing with other firewall programs. If there is no direct program access control he could try opening the ports listed in the readme that is located somewhere in the vengeance folder.
 
If its a black screen he needs to disable Zone Alarm.
Even if you add it to the list of programs in Zone Alarm it still doesn't work.
