Guild wars

Are there even any guild wars anymore??? i used to go to that chronicles of strife website a lot, but it seems that all they ever post up on it are character guides, no guild wars, is that because there are none??? i was planning on buying it, but if not then why even play, there are much better MMORPG's

sorry maybe i didn't clarify this well enough, but within shadowbane are there any guild wars, i wasn't talking about the game guild wars(which i know about), but wars going on between different guilds within shadowbane, are there any?
