These arguments are silly nonsense at this point. Twitter, Google, and Facebook completely monopolize the platforms which are broadly used for communications between billions of people around the world. It's really no longer a simple case of "private companies" deciding what can and cannot be said within their domains because "it's their business"

Perhaps it would be in everyone's best interest, regardless of political leaning, if these tech giants were nudged towards a hands-off approach for moderating what is and isn't said on their platforms.

Do you want Zuckerbergs policing what you can and can't say online?

Nobody is talking about the government infringing on your speech. This is about government figuring out how to protect free speech from corporations which monopolize the very platforms which people use to communicate. Certainly not a binary issue.
