See, we tax the shit out of walmarts profits, then force them to raise wages. People see an extra 20 bucks on their check, but they don't notice their base cost of living has gone up 20 bucks. It's the democrat shell game.

That "spread the wealth" quote was about making the economy stronger for WORKING AMERICANS, not about the government taking wealth and spreading it.

This just means that people who pay little to nothing in taxes will get bigger checks in the mail for "tax credits." Increased welfare under the mantra of "tax cuts." Yay.

awesome, except walmart's profit didn't change... their cost of doing business went up, so their prices went up... the cost was passed on, as always, to the consumer.

free market provided no help, because all the other grocery store's cost of doing business went up to... you did nothing but fool people into thinking they have more money.

Hell you probably hurt them, since psychologically they got a raise, and blew at least a portion of it.
