It started with the new car for the daughter. I put a camera in my window looking at the driveway. It records the car at 1fps 24/7, uses about a gig a day. At the time, I could see the camera from work by logging into my home computer using the tunnelier. Then we were going away to the UK, so I bought another camera and pointed it at the front door where our dog sleeps. She stayed in the house and we had people watching her. On our UK trip, we were able to log into the home computer and view both cameras from 4100 miles away. This came in very handy, because the first person was slacking off and we could see it. She didn't show up when we expected, so we called others who stepped in and walked the dog.
