This is from /pol/. Basically someone made a thread telling people to make a google account to get a google voice number, then sign up all these social media accounts with it, then post over and over that the "OK" sign means "white power." The point being that liberals will believe anything and then start parroting the same thing.
It was an instant hit because instantly liberals not only believed it without question, but they started to pour over all these pictures of politicians and celebrities making the OK sign, then say they were all secret white supremacists.
Now when right wingers make the OK sign, it's poking fun at how gullible liberals are. Liberals to this day are still not in on the joke that they are being made fun of for how gullible they are.
