so you want to take drunk chicks that are going to puke in your car, fight with you and throw your stuff out on the sidewalk?

I hear puke is hard to get out of escort carpet

Every doctor I've met is messed up. Anyone who stays in school that long is going to have a lot of issues. Very few doctors are happy people. The women do not marry. They also have an amazingly high likelihood of being pill poppers. Every doctor I've met think they know everything. Every time a doctor makes a business, private practice aside, it fails.

I gotta agree with the doctor bashing. The two I know in med school now are complete fucking morons when it comes to shit I consider common sense. They're very book-smart tho, but I guess that's the point??

people are uber drivers in hopes that they pick up drunk chicks who will bang/blow them for a tip/fare. etc.

Some ppl have 0 game but have a car.

Uber was cool when it first started, and the pay was good. But they cut back the pay, the cities require a license, and now we're seeing the passengers are drunks who want rides home from the clubs.

But the concept was ground breaking, using the internet to schedule fares, along with rating the drivers and passengers, and having clean cars. The taxi industry was never going to do this. Not only this, taxis were only found at the airports where the drivers knew they could get a fare. Uber made them change, by having taxis everywhere. I drive past a hotel, and now I see a taxi waiting in the parking lot just about every day. The taxi industry will evolve, but their fares are still too high.

It's NGFM, his local experience in Ft. Lauderdale, which he has of course applied as a universal truth, is probably taxis stick around the airport too much. Which makes sense because a lot of people are probably not even renting a car and just need a ride to Miami or the cruise ship terminal.

Exactly. In Fort Lauderdale, the cruise ship terminal is next to the airport. Too far to walk, 5 miles away because the entrance is on the north side of the port. In Miami it's even farther. So the cabbies were in the airport and cruise port lines to get those fares, ignoring the late night crowd that wanted rides home from the bars. Uber solved this problem, because the drivers are everywhere. In fact, most are banned from pick ups at the airports, until Uber makes a deal with the county. That's exactly what happened down here in Broward county, now the same thing is happening in Dade (Miami). The counties want Uber to be just like the taxi industry, with the licensing, taxes, and fees to soak tourists. Uber is saying FU, we're different. The counties ban Uber from the airport, the fans get pissed, threaten to not vote for the commissioners, the story goes on the local news, and a deal is eventually made to bring Uber back.
