Deplyable sensor jammers

would like to see a deployable sensor jammer only make it so it has a slow energy drain and will expire/blow up after like 5 minutes.

offense could use them and d could camo stray turrets on a enemy cap trail.

these would also be negated by sensor jammer packs and of course visual confirmation
 
these never got used in t1... at least ive never used them. maybe there was no call for them. i mean, dep sensors were popular, why not jammers? guess it just wasnt that big of an issue.
 
eh, in t1 i would often see snipers setup deployable sensor jammers and snipe from them....of course didn't make much sense because you could see where the red beam was coming from, heh.
 
Only real use they had was to put down next to a dep inv so when you run over there it's not as obvious. Thats really the only use they had that was worth a shit. Different story in a mod however.
