My old ass laptop that I got years and years ago is finally dying on me, and unfortunate as it may be, I haven't paid attention to computer hardware in years, so I honestly don't know what I'm looking for...

Basically I want a laptop that's going to be able to decently run diablo III and starcraft II if/when they finally do come out. I'm not talking about every setting on high, I just want them to be able to run. Aside from that I won't really need it for much besides web browsing / microsoft office for work/school. I do most of my gaming on console these days.

Anybody have any recommendations for specs, or know of a good site I should be looking at? Is cyberpower worth it?

Go check out the Asus laptops over at Best Buy. I mention Best Buy because you just cant beat their warranty program.

Just make sure the thing has the newer 200+ nvidia card in it....

I personally am thinking about this:

Lenovo - Y450 Ultraportable entertainment

Lenovo IdeaPad Y450 - 41896HU unit. It's small yet powerful.

writing this from an ASUS N81VP
With a 14" screen and 1GB 4650 video card, it's right on the money for portability and performance, for me.

Bear in mind that anything with a 'high end' video card is likely to also run a 17" screen, and be seriously big and heavy to provide both the power and heat dissipation of top end cards. This has a card that's a touch off there, but one of the (admittedly few) advantages of the 1366x768 display is that it's not a particularly huge native resolution, so you don't need as much horsepower to drive your display to its full capacity. No point having a 17" 1920x1080 screen if you can't get a decent framerate at that resolution.

The display and graphics card match up quite nicely for me.
