A little skinning help?

I found some tutorials on how to skin armor with photoshop but im planning on making a new disk skin, do i take the same steps as i would with the armor? also where can i get the disk launcher model to start with?

same procedure, and try the disk launcher stuff i got hosted, also t1sourcemedia, you´ll find some stuff to start from.
