Accessing WebAdmin from the internet.

Veteran X
I have webadmin setup on my 192.168.0.102 machine for my dedicated internet server that my friends and I play on.

I have a DI-604 router.

I setup, in the Virtual Servers menu:

Virtual Server HTTP 192.168.0.102 TCP 80/80 always

where 192.168.0.102 is the Private IP that I needed to fill in.

The router added:

Allow Virtual Server HTTP WAN,* LAN,192.168.0.102 TCP,80

to my Firewall menu.

Now, I give a friend my ip in this format: http://xx.xxx.xx.xx:80
It redirects him to 192.168.0.102 and times out.

Suggestions?

Neither have worked.

ICF is turned off?
How about any other firewall? (zonealarm, etc.)

If he does get redirected, then it sounds like the NAT is doing the job and it's somethine on the machine.

ICF? I think you're on to something. I checked, and the section for it was replaced by a messege saying I needed to go back to a restore point. I just uninstalled the network card and restart, I'll see if that fixes it. Expect a followup in a minute.

I'm not familiar with Webadmin, but it appears the 102 machine is not accepting connections on port 80. I assume this is for a game, right? You should be forwarding the default server port, not the HTTP port. So Tribes, for example, would require 28001 to be forwarded to 102.

edit: I'm not completely sure what you're trying to do, so a little more background info would help.
