What a completely asinine thread. You do realize the Democrats are already regulating Twitter. The better question would be can you imagine the hissy fit of the left if they were the ones being censored and banned off Twitter for wrong think.
 
One point I can't but to :lol: at is how the left is trying to throw into the face of the right is this invented idea that the right is somehow against all govt regulations. The left cannot seem to separate the libertarian ideology from the conservative ideology or that if someone on the right wants to limit certain regulations, it means they want all regulating agencies disbanded.

Historically speaking, conservative/conserve = conserve the peoples liberties in favor of govt regulating them.

Most of them revolve around protecting the environment but those can all be viewed as property rights... mostly against dumping. Dumping waste hurts property and water and property rights are how we have advanced life. But do we need a regulating agency for this? I don't think so.

We should all be able to sue the ever-living-shit out of people/companies/corps that dump waste and not have those people/companies/corps protected by the govt.

But I do believe that the Federal govt has every right and responsibility to regulate monopolies, and oligopolies, something that I think they are failing at. While we really only have a few true monopolies, I see no difference between 5 oil companies and 1 Standard Oil company or 5 ISP companies. Nothing good comes from monopolies or oligopolies.

Then again, I am not a republican so maybe I am of the extreme.
