The GigRig G2 Switcher is badass. It allows you to program pedal combinations to 1 switch. You are able to change the order of the pedals without changing their position (Example: Phase 90 in front of the Rat or after the Rat). Has 2 amp outputs with the second having the option to switch phase so your speakers are moving together instead of 1 moving out while the other is moving in.

The board itself is just freaking awesome. Being able to plug and unplug from the outside, snap a lid on and carry it around like a briefcase.. just awesome.

Would you like to know more?

I don't record (Studio Style). I jam with friends. Play a gig or 2 in a local bar with those friends.

Mostly I love to use my looper pedal. I have even started learning piano/keyboard (fyi, son of a *****, learning piano first would have made guitar so much easier) so I can make more interesting loops.

I don't even save those. I can spend a day or 2 putting together a loop, I jam with it till I am bored and hit erase.

My motivation is through the roof, my aspirations of glory don't even register.

I am up to 7 guitars, 30+ pedals, 4 amps and a StewMac tool collection that cost as much as a small car, almost. So I got G.A.S. bad

I saw Robert Fripp perform twice. He was doing "Frippotronics" by himself in one show. Then, he was with the League of Gentlemen in another.

Acquire yourself a copy of Guitar Rig, you can get explore to your heart's content, 50+ pedals/effects, 27 different amps and cabinets (which you can happily mix and match), right down to how you mic the cabs and with what.

Plug in to your computer with either a 1/2" to 1/4" converter into a mic/line-in on your soundcard or something like the Rocksmith USB cable, and something like ASIO4ALL drivers.

Hours of messing around

I was very sorely tempted by a beautiful little Vox AC4TV a while back.. 4 watt amp, selectable down to either 1 or 1/4 watt as well.. lovely tone, perfect little bedroom box. Couldn't justify it to myself though for what I'd get out of it... I understand what you mean, though.
