How often do you retrain for your job?

Sometimes when I burn one side of the burger they make me do the "Flipping 101" module again.

I work around chemicals, so we have safety and recertifications monthly. In August, I am going to Cleveland for 3 days for training by Corporate.

the irony being spinfusor salad worked for a chemical company in Cleveland which is what fucking killed him

also make sure u check out great lakes brewing company

Fees are approximations:
ACLS ever 2 years $200
License renewal every 2 years $500 (fortunately I only hold a license in one state)
DEA renewal every 3 years $500
States CDS every 3 years $120
CME and conferences is easily another $1000-2000 per year, which may be reimbursed depending on my employer.
I've spent approximately $5000 on exams over the years
I also have a dozen or so online compliance courses that I have to take annually, which takes up a great deal of time.

I'm probably forgetting some stuff. So I guess the answer is a lot.

Yeah. Something I think about, but luckily I am not directly in contact with the chemicals much anymore, I am in management.

Thanks, for the recommendation. I will have a couple of days to do what I want up there, and have no idea what is cool to check out other that the RRHOF.

o man Cleveland is fucking awful except for a few things, mostly food related.

so you've got Great Lakes Brewing Co which has amazing beer and some really good fud
iron chef mike symon has a few restaurants in town - Lola is fine dining and b-spot is his burger joint.
slymans is kinda in the ghetto but is famous for ridiculous corned beef sandwiches
theres a chain of grilled cheese shops called Melt that r p fukn gud if you're lookin for a grilled cheese melt type sandwich

other than food and the RRHOF, you've got the great lakes science center which will most definitely be filled with bused-in negro children... so yeah
in august u might catch a browns pre-season game or an Indians game to watch how horrible the tribe has become
we have a casino. apparently its called the Jack now. I dunno. the last time I was there it had a diff name.
you can drive down to Akron, where i'm from, and see why LeBron left us twice

Yeah, I heard it isn't the place to be.

Indians are out of town, would have liked to see a game at that ballpark. Trip will be August 20-23...for work, so during the day its work time, but I can do what I want afterwards, and that Friday I can leave whenever I want, company is paying for everything...

Great Lakes Brew Co is probably a definite hit..
Thanks for the heads up.

define retrain..
I don't need to do anything, but I fell into such a hot category of job that I try to keep up with all the the academic bullshit that I can keep getting raises and promotions
