When I watched that video, it reminded me of how set we get in our ways. I still feel like a tard when I tie them correctly. Funny how such a little change can make you feel inept. I showed my 17 year old. he tried to do it the right way and then just said "**** that - it makes me feel retarded". fruit doesn't fall far from the tree

Do you realise this guy is a dickhead and his entire premise is flawed.

It all depends on which way you do your initial overhand knot. If left over right then you can still tie your 'bunny ears' as a right wrapping around left.

If you don't do it that way it is still much easier to retrain yourself to alter the overhand knot than it is to change the way you wrap the loop around your thumb in the second part of the knot.
