Over the weekend, Ms. Mueller’s employer, Tribeca-STL, which manages real estate elsewhere in the city, said in a statement on its website that it had reviewed the video and fired her. Tribeca does not own the building where Mr. Toles and Ms. Mueller live.

“The Tribeca-STL family is a minority-owned company that consists of employees and residents from many racial backgrounds,” officials with the company, an apartment complex in St. Louis, said. “We are proud of this fact and do not and never will stand for racism or racial profiling at our company.”

So she was at home. Not at work. Not representing her company. Her company doesn't own the building... And her employer fires her? How is that not a lawsuit?

can companies is non-right to work states have clauses in employment paperwork that state "we can fire you for whatever reason we want?"

i would imagine so

How the hell is this automatically racially motivated? There are plenty of busy-body, nosy white women in America that just think they know everything that goes on in their neighborhood and maybe she actually didn't think he lived there.. The victim himself is half white too... And of course the media had to add this little quip to stir the pot:

It was the latest known instance of a white person caught on video confronting — and sometimes calling the police on — a black person performing everyday activities, such as babysitting, eating lunch or going to the pool.

In a Brooklyn deli last week, a white woman called the police after claiming that a young black boy touched her behind. (He had not.) In July, a black state lawmaker in Oregon said she was reported to the police as a “suspicious person” while talking to constituents in a suburban neighborhood.

Yes, she is a clearly insane and a self-important wanna-be victim. Possibly racist too, though we cannot determine it 100% just like the other story. I actually doubt she lashed out because he was a black 8 year old because in Brooklyn you would be doing that all the time in such a racially diverse area. Just like the cops who arrested the black dude(s) at Starbucks because the manager was just following store policy... one of the cops was black and the media loves creating a racial divide in this country. Everyone assumes racism because the media is always the first to fan the flames.
