Upgrades

I'm on a couple of motorcycling forums and they both seem to be running vBulletin, one shows the version at the bottom of the page like TW.
The other one looks like a different format (ugly), but the user CP looks almost identical, the images and youtube are blocked just like TW. Since it's not listed on the site I don't know which version it is, or even if it is vBulletin or some fork maybe.
Just like TW, if I switch off the browser's protection they work fine.

The forum showing version 4.5.2 at the bottom of the page does not have the issue with images or youtube loading.

The version may have nothing to do with it working, could just be some setting or something they have that's different. :shrug:
 
yeah we have a lot of "mixed content" that is fucking up SSL

i'm not sure how to get around the shit we don't host here like people's sigs and some of our ad scripts

i changed ncode to use a relative path though so that's one down?
 
The image resizer is working, https is working on the main forum page with a green lock. :bigthumb:

When in a thread with images it now maintains https, but the lock then has a "warning" symbol and clicking the symbol brings up a possibly unsafe images as the reason.

The image resizer now works in this state without turning off the browser protection.

This is in FF projectTriton Liquid. Thanks for all your efforts to figure it out.
 
yeah not sure what i can do about peoples sigs and linked images
i can't globally replace http with https as many hosts don't have https avail
would break a lot of shit

I guess the censorship shit was fixed? Some posts are all **** and others aren't. And those that are were not censored in quoted posts....wierd.

EvilNapir's post right above mine was not censored....

That list is getting smaller and smaller, between LetsEncrypt and changes to Chrome. And S3 is free below 5GB, found out today at work.

How bad would it be to rehost a few sigs? Too bad 3rd party stuff can't be wrapped in iframes.
