Knowingly exposing others to HIV will no longer be a felony in California - LA Times

Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill Friday that lowers from a felony to a misdemeanor the crime of knowingly exposing a sexual partner to HIV without disclosing the infection.

The measure also applies to those who give blood without telling the blood bank that they are HIV-positive.

Now they have to go through and test that fag blood even though they know it'll be rejected anyway. Great cost savings brought to you by progressives. Also some new strand of HIV could slip through since it mutates all the time.

someone could have gone in and given blood without telling about their HIV before this change

the only difference is they would have gotten charged with a felony instead of a misdemeanor when they're found out

They already test blood donations... Not like this is gonna suddenly make them start testing. Did you honestly think they accepted donations on good faith and assumed it was clean?
