My first trip to Vegas was in '98, the year that a bunch of friends and I turned 21. We drove from Denver to Vegas on a Thursday for the grand opening of the Bellagio. It was so packed that you could barely move inside so we walked down the street to the Monte Carlo. A buddy and I bellied up to a craps table at about 2am, and 5 hours later we stumbled to the cashier up almost $7k combined thanks to this one dude who had a 45 minute roll and cleared 5 of 6 on our fire bets.
When a table is that hot it attracts a big crowd, including all tiers of hookers. Once the table cooled off the hookers kind of hovered in a circling pattern looking to share in our good fortune. We were wrecked and figured fuck it so we picked out the hottest two and headed back to the MGM.
