I've been abusing Frank's RedHot for way too long now and I need to change it up..

What is your go-to hot sauce?

Please put the hotness on 1-10 scale with 1 being mild as fuck and 10 being fuck this noise.

That is all

I like the tabasco Habanero sauce. Probably like a 7 on hotness with a nice habanero sweetness at the end.

sriracha sauce is the shit.

i boil up spaghetti, add salt n pepper and a healthy dose of sriracha to use as a sauce.

it'll flush out your bowels until you're shitting out clean healthy blood.

In my kitchen I have Sriracha, Franks, and Cholula. Covers basically all my needs.

Founders 3 Pepper sauce barrel aged in bourbon barrels SO GOOD!

I love NOLA food so of course Crystal's and Tabasco are always around :)

about as spicy as tobasco (so not very) while not tasting like you just drizzled a ton of vinegar all over your food

What?

It's definitely less hot than tabasco, and this is a vinegar based hot sauce.

It's a great hot sauce. It's one of the 4 I use, but you're wrong on all counts.

Not hot sauce, but anyone try this before?:

Apparently in America "ketchup" was this stuff for most of it's history, and only became tomao based in the 1900s. Everyone who buys this loves it. Seems like people use it for beef based dishes and also in soups and stews.

Anyone have a good recipe for a "roasted" hot sauce/salsa? There's a local joint that I know they char the hell out of the tomatoes at the very least (blackened on a panini grill type thing) but not sure what else they put in. Its not super hot, but has tons of flavor. Its somewhere between a hot sauce and a salsa, you can see little chunks of stuff like a very fine salsa. Its pretty dark brownish in color due to the blackened tomatoes I believe., But you use it like a sauce

You fucking plebs.

This shit is on every table like ketchup in Belize. I can't tell you how hot it is on your scale because this isn't hot to me at all, but most people's balls suck in when they hear habanero

You're getting closer to the truth but the scotch bonnet is a close relative to the habanero. This hot sauce is made in the virgin islands and has an almost salsa like consistency. Definitely the best I've ever used

Baron West Indian Hot Sauce hails from the island of St. Lucia and is a masterful combination of mustard, onion, garlic, vinegar, and Scotch Bonnet peppers. This is a sweeter mustard sauce and has a hefty kick from the Scotch Bonnets to boot.

It's pretty hot but not super hot. Probably a bit more than cock sauce.
Get it from your local Indonesian shop.
