this was wat i was doing for a long long time because i never cared about 1 rep max or increasing weight every few weeks

before i was doing dead lift on leg day because i liked focusing all my hardcore posterior chain stuff on 1 day

this worked really nicely but i was only going to the gym 3-4 days a week and it was mostly maintenance

now i work out 6 days a week 3 day on 1 day off 3 day on so i do deadlift on back day cuz i found doing 2 heavy compound movements on the same day like dl and squat just wrecked me

if i drop frequency and go back to just doing maintenance lifting then i will probably put dead lift on same day as squats and stop caring but right now i make gains quicker separating them

sure u can call it that

but i also do tris on push day aka chest/tris/ohp and bis on pull day aka back/bicep and every 4 weeks i do a deload week

well ya tri on push and bis on pull

do u go heavy and light on each day as far as volume?

currently i am like

heavy push, light pull, heavy leg, rest, light push, heavy pull, light leg

and basically on light days i am doin slightly reduced volume, higher rep range, and just different lifts

y pre program deload, just go hard till u hit the wall

r u eatin big or maitaneance?

i only changed to this cuz some bro science ****ers said it increases protein synthesis which is a nice alternative to using roids

i do heavy lifts 2nd half of week with a lower rep range but usually i just end up only doing that for 1 or 2 sets and go back to normal weight hypertrophy rep range 3-4 sets

many different lifts as i can each workout

and diet idgaf about at all

by diet idgaf i mean i eat stuffed crust pizza hut trash pizza somedays (thanks kdt for putting this stupid idea in my head) then another day i will fast the whole fukin day, then another day i will eat healthy keto and then another day i will eat healthy all around

only uniform thing is i do high protein except for fasting days

idgaf if this is counter to gains or unhealthy or whatever i just eat what i am craving and watch the weight scale

so do dl and squats on leg day same day and dont do a heavy day do 2 hypertrophy days

or just take a week off

i have to train legs becuz a lot of my muscle atrophied but at a certain point where pants fit me nicely i too quit doing squats and even deadlifts regularly because i am a scum

also i think heavy strength lifting is the fast track to joint replacement surgery
