I noticed there were no really good configs for Ascend players trying to play T1. This is an all-in-one configuration that includes the game, looks great and includes everything a new player would need coming from Tribes: Ascend like:

Jumpjet script (so you don't have to jump before you jet!)
Autokit script (never forget to use your health pack again!)
Keybinds close to T:A
Great looking HUD & Hi-Rez textures (http://i.imgur.com/sUB8Oh0.jpg )
Carefully picked demos of every position to study
Route tutorial demos
Menu screens I stole and or threw together (http://i.imgur.com/7p407Sf.jpg ty Neolight)
Windows 8 fix
And lots more

It's a tough game to learn, but very rewarding. Ascend players are spoiled with their dumbed down skiing and jets. If you are at all excited for Project Z, this is the best place to practice!

Best times to play are during the night in the US. Popular servers include The Community, =Argh!=s duel, and Brazil Annihilation (not really located in Brazil). There are no active Euro servers unfortunately.

- you still have old version of my ice terrain
- i dont like if u make (shitty) changes to the interface/menu
- you seem to have based your modifications on older version of my interface

fixious please answer this for me because i'm genuinely curious

why would you make or allow /r/Tribes solely to be about tribes ascend

why not send them over to /r/TribesAscend instead?

was it a power thing?

like I realize you post tribes 1 content there now and that's awesome. but i can remember being banned so many times from that subreddit simply because i'd say i couldn't get into ta or t2 and preferred t1.

and the thing that perplexes me is it seems you really love t1. like you understand that the game wasn't broken in the first place so all the attempts at reinventing the wheel in the sequels were stupid as fuck and could have easily been done with t1+better graphics+open modding

so i'd really like a longer than 1 line explanation of what happened or why /r/Tribes became basically /r/tribesascend only when it was your subreddit

i realize you're promoting t1 now but why not when tribes ascend came out and the game was legitimately terrible

i personally prefer the blue ice over the remake. idk, i never liked the snow maps tbh, but that blue ice just makes it look sexy to me.
