MAC has more teams over .500 then the Big 10, 6 to 5.

i thought that meant that the big 10 is the toughest conference top to bottom?

Or we can all just agree the BCS is a giant farce and makes no sense, and a 4 team playoff won't fix anything and move on.

There is far too much subjectivity in college football. It's quite ridiculous when you really stop to think about it. We allow preseason rankings, teams arbitrarily chosen for whatever biased reasons, and as the season progresses we ignore what those teams go on to do as we tell ourselves it only matters what happened in the moment. Well that's certainly convenient for teams like Mizzou who played 5 "ranked" teams and beat 4 of them. Unfortunately those 4 teams were Florida (4-8), Georgia (8-4), Ole Miss (7-5) and A&M (8-4). The only reason Georgia and A&M are still ranked is because of those high arbitrary preseason rankings, and the SEC bias that allows them to be the only 4 loss ranked teams. Does FSU get credit for beating Florida? Nope. And yet in a bold hypocritical fashion SEC fans don't respect Clemson for beating Georgia because "well Georgia's not that good."
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
College football needs more objectivity. No more polls. No more committees. No more rewarding teams because of being a historical program, or part of an elite conference. No more arbitrary rankings based on absolutely nothing. Teams should have to earn their spot in a playoff through simple objective reasoning.

I agree Fool, but the retards somehow think that a playoff will diminish the "regular season". The facts are that a lot of people make a lot of money off of this system, including the media, who gets to do their ranking shows and what ifs the entire season. You know how dumb a BCS Bowl Projection is in week 8? Completely pointless but people eat that **** up.
"HOW DARE YOU PUT MY TEAM IN THE TROJAN CONDOM BOWL, WE COULD BEAT ALABAMA WITH ONLY 10 ON OFFENSE AND DEFENSE!#@!%"
