Just saw a news piece on TV about overcrowding in US prisons. 1% of the adult population is in jail, That's fucking mental. And 47% of them for drug offences. Looks like the "war on drugs" is starting to get expensive for those of you that pay tax.

So that got me thinking (yeah I know, right), most people know way more than 100 people, so how many people do you know personally who are getting their shit pushed in for them?

How the fuck do you work that one out? It's pretty clear from the thread title and the first post that it is not in any way whatsoever about Dubai. So yeah, Derp.

War on drugs is a failure, they're going to change the laws over here. They can't change the min sentencing guidelines, but the prosecutors will give lessor charges for minor drug offenses.
