majority of the ppl who played in those pus were noobies and had never played comp lt or 10v10 and if they did it was on shitty teams with minimal organization

it turned out good even with all the bad players and as long as ppl do not turn this into a shitshow other more qualified ppl will show up

but tbh i like including every1 and getting noobs 2 play

Yeah absolutely get everyone in; get them playing, we just need to help some of them out with what to do since a lot of them have probably legitimately never played organized base (or even LT really).

Maybe we could get a really simple web page that people could sign up on and post what positions they play. Then as long as they show up using their actual name it will help Captains pick teams much faster. Nothing worse than having 5 dudes and pressing tab and going "fuck now what". Shit you could go one step further and just have a very simple spreadsheet with pulldowns for each map with pref. positions. So we could look up Dare and see:

Probably more trouble that it's worth but you could slot teams up really quick with it.

(Ref you can argue validity of rating all you want but same guys seem to get high ratings all the time, maybe it is more accurate than you want to believe?)

If we are welcoming newbs to come and play base. I think one of the two decent servers should have base maps in rotation.

consistantly clearing as LO and not getting kills yet enabling cappers to grab easily means you are terrible @ tribe

some1 is most obvious troll on planet
 
jm5k spams mortar pts and writes essays on how 2 play base

meanwhile i construct 5-star base strategies and position assignment in a timely manner revolutionizing base and pu play as we kno it

ratings generally do show how much u r doing 4 ur team

does not even matter what position i play i usually am 1st everytime

the argument against ratings and stat whoring used to be that if u r basing ur judge of stats then u r missing out on players that get lots of ma's as well as crippling shots or just play their position really well (like turret farmer)


with stat hud at end of map this has changed and an even better set up is the euro fstat stuff cuz it shows total damage ratio compared to other players + wtf! rating which incorporate many things into it

it wuld be pretty easy to put in repair work as stats 2


a lot of ppl will say so and so is not playing correctly even tho they are getting big stats and imo there is no correct way to play tribe other than 2 synergize and may the best team win so those ppl r dumb
