Apple better come up with something else because their market share is going to be nil pretty soon. In addition to that, they are desperately grasping at straws by attempting to sue Samsung and other manufacturers for infringement.
They were pretty revolutionary, but that **** doesn't last forever.

Suing Samsung just seems like an awful move on their part, I really can't imagine they will win the case at all, and they may soil their relationship with Samsung as a vendor for some of their hardware.

It'll be down more then:
Update: Dual-Polarization Upgrade to WFO Chicago Doppler Radar
But I see this is why it's down now:
A problem discovered last week during routine maintenance on the NWS Chicago/Romeoville WSR-88D KLOT radar indicated that the pedestal gearing of the radar was in the initial stages of a catastrophic failure. A five person team from the WSR-88D Radar Operations Center (ROC) arrived on site over the weekend to perform a rebuilding of the gears in the pedestal. This is a significant failure, and the reconstruction of the pedestal gears will require that the radar be out of service for a total of 7 to 10 days. The radar will thus be down through at least late this week while the reconstruction of the pedestal is being completed.

Seems like you are doing it wrong these days if you aren't being sued for some form of IP infringement.

Apple stole Creative's menu tree interface, which they patented a year before Apple tried to steal it and patent it with their Ipod.
Apple suing Samsung for infringement is laughable after they blatantly stole Creative's user interface.
Yet another reason I'll never purchase an apple product.

I had non-smart Samsung phones that had similar interfaces well before the iPhone.

Which phone?
I've had samsung phones for about 10 years, put two of them through the washing machine and they're both still working.

Trying to find the model number, I had a wikipedia page link earlier with a pic of it and everything, the site where I knew the model number was mentioned in the comments has since been buried by like 5,000 other people commenting.
Here's an LG one that looks similar enough though from 2006:

I've been hunting for a new Samsung phone lately, my Samsung A727 is starting to bite the **** after being sent through the washing machine twice. Now when it gets wet, the screen goes white for a couple hours.

Galaxy S phones are all sweet, I am a huge fan of the Focus myself but that depends on how much you like Windows Phone 7 or not.
Galaxy S II phones are rolling out fairly soon I think, may be a good idea to wait for that. Or if you have T-Mobile I think the Nexus S is probably worth it.

Never had a chance to see the new windows OS for phones, is there any advantage to it over droid OS? Those are the only two I'd consider at this point. I've got AT&T right now.
