Yea originally it was a max of 3x per dig. My bad, I retract my disbelief.

They should just increase the chance of finding a rare by like .05% or something for every non-rare that you make and then reset it when you discover one.

It's pretty much inevitable that you'll get what you want if you farm long enough, but it's kind of a joke to put nigh BiS gear as complete RNG from a profession, secondary or not. A friend of mine found Zin'Rokh with 30 fucking troll artifacts made. I'm over 100 and nothing. There are people with far more than me. I just bought the PvP weapon and will end up waiting for Ass Kandy, but it's kind of a silly system.

Latest patch notes:

The sell value of all common artifacts has been doubled, while a small subset of common artifacts have had their sell value increased far beyond that.

I got Zin'Rokh on my 340th or so solve.

I've had Zin Rokh for awhile, but none of my 2h users are 85 yet.
