First time playing here as well (Opimo). Let me know if you guys notice me doing anything newblandish. Right now, I'm following the build guide in the Tribal Forums and farming abandoned / barb villages with my spearmen.
 
I have had a pally for like 3 days. You guys suck.


I also have had 20 spears, 20 swords, and 20 axes..level 3 wall.
 
I still have 20 swords that never leave my town. DEFENSE! I'm going through spear and axemen pretty quick though.
 
... if you have a sizeable amount of spearmen you won't lose any (provided the village you're attacking doesnt have anyone defending)... I've got 50 spears now, and i never lose a man on my farming missions.
 
What are your troop counts looking like?

I have 20 spear 15 sword and a paladin.

I am working on getting more of each but I'm also trying to increase my resource output.
