Why is the blackberry jack a different jack? WTF kind of BS is this?

God bless the chinese for selling the adapter for dirt cheap on ebay.
 
you cna get the adapter anywhere. and they're relatively cheap.

some only work mono while others work stereo i believe... found that out when trying to stream pandora to my sound system...
