if we hadn't lost those votes it would be pretty much a dead even race. Not that those votes were legit so it doesn't really matter but we are doing pretty damn well.
 
A lot of them were legit (i.e.: unique votes from real people), they just didn't give real contact info.

Have we had actual reported cases of repeat IPs being thrown out? I'm not saying do this, but have people who voted once, then had their girlfriend vote had their votes been thrown out? I haven't heard anyone complain that didn't give bogus info...
 
no, no one has reported any issue with multiple people in a household voting from the same computer assuming they were using real information.

All votes that have been thrown out are due to things like "Mike Hawk" for a name " 1600 Pennsyvania ave" for an address and "867-5309" for a number.

I guess what I am saying is use real information or don't bother. Its not helping and there is a good chance it is hurting.
