Thank god you get to keep it!

Any word on if you will have full mobility\strength after it's finished healing? How about sensitivity? Is it gonna be tingly forever?

I had a pretty bad accident when I was like 18 with my right hand\wrist. Glass coffee table broke when I put weight on it getting up off the floor. I have a nice scar on it and the underside of my hand and along the edge of it all the way up to my pinky is forever "pins and needles". I have full mobility\strength in it but somedays I feel the tingle quite a bit.

Hopefully you dont get much of that.

Damn, it's healing up nicely. Too bad they have to break it - but by midsummer, you'll be playing piano again.

someone i know had this happen to her right index finger. she originally cut herself on the cutting edge of one of those plastic wrap boxes. she had strep throat at the time and put her finger in her mouth. apparently strep is the same kind of bacteria that causes it.

It was a few years ago and she still has her finger as well, and although she lost most use of it, it looks relatively normal now. It was around 12 hours for her from the cut till she was hospitalized. scary as ****.

Necrotizing fasciitis is a Strep A infection. They explained it to me like this. "The infection that you have, wipes out small villages in Africa".

Looks a lot better. Glad to see its working out. I would have never guessed it would.

You also have one of those stubby thumbs. My buddy had one too. He called it a handicap and used that as his excuse when I beat his ass at Tekken and NCAA Football back in the day.

My favorite voice binds. Everyone spamming those the whole game would give me a headache.

Update: April 29th

They have given 4 options at this point. All 4 are different ways of cutting my finger off. They cant save it at all. I wish they would have done this months ago, it would have saved me alot of pain.
