Sup Fellow TDubers,

I've been working on a project called Digsby with a couple of friends for the past 2 years. We are working on an IM Client that integrates your main means of online communication. Most importantly we wanted to do this in a way that was very user friendly (can be read as "noob friendly") and powerful. We have not only integrated the major IM Protocols* but we have also implemented Email Protocols** and I DON'T just mean notifications. Along with the latest trend of communication -- Social Networks***!

Supported Protocols (more to come...)
Code:
* IM Protocols - AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, GTalk, Jabber
** Email Protocols - GMail, Hotmail, YahooMail, AOLMail, POP, IMAP
*** Social Networks - Facebook, MySpace, more coming soon...
We have gone for a clean look and made room for nice customizations. We also added bunch of powerful features such as synchronized prefs and accounts (no need to reconfigure on another computer) and an autoupdating system. We also have a Mac and Linux version coming soon.

Although Digsby is in a beta via invites, I have setup invite codes specifically for tribalwar, use the code tdub.

So go checkout digsby, check out the screenshots and features, and finally download digsby and use the invite code tdub

cliffnotes:
- We just launched a bad ass client that integrates IM, Email and Social Networks (Online communication)
- I hooked up TW with invite codes!
- Go download digsby
- Use the invite code: tdub to register

good to see a new IMing app come out, most of the current ones suck

cool idea w/ social networks

if I just want to use AIM, will it still take up tons of memory cuz it loads all the other stuff? Also does it have these AIM features: change buddy list, profile, away, status messages? The features page is a little vague

And a decent looking UI to boot. I might have to give this a whirl, though I only use two instant messaging programs (GTalk and MSN), and not a fan of the social networking.

Does it do IRC? I don't see IRC. This makes me sad.

Pretty important questions that must be answered. Can it also direct connect?

Did you know that you can personalize digsby by changing the conversation theme?

trillian, which i currently use at work to connect me to IRC, AIM, and MSN, uses 7mb of RAM

digsby, which does not support IRC (yet?), uses 51mb of RAM

i must politely decline the use of your product!

Does it have the same emoticons for each IM? I'm used to MSN ones for msn, gtalk ones for gtalk, etc.
