What if player armors started burning around the edges/trailing fire when they exceeded a certain speed? They would have to be moving extremely fast (+500 kph or something like that) but it would be possible for l33t players to do as long as there's no speed cap.

The Tribes 1 spinfusor seems to reload slightly faster than the disc launcher in T2. Is there really a difference, or am I just confused? Do you want a higher or slower rate of fire in T:V?
