DoctoR WanG 05-23-2010 02:25

Falhawk 05-23-2010 07:00

I did a workout called Thirty Fifteen.

30 pushups
15 pullups

12 sets of each (different varieties)

ouch

Reno 05-23-2010 09:29

Since "today" was "yesterday," I did some yard work. Mowing (spool mower), trimmed stuff, cleared out underbrush, etc. Later I took a *****in' nap.

Today I'm pretty sure I'm not doing **** but might decide to go for a run depending what time the floor dudes are done.

Glare 05-23-2010 10:06

it is going to be 90 and humid today

which means ive gotta get going in a few minutes or i'll never make it

Reno 05-23-2010 10:17

It's going to be 74 and dry but windy here. I should really stop drinking coffee and go run before the wind kicks up but eh, I'm enjoying this.

Glare 05-23-2010 10:25

lucky bastard

Glare 05-23-2010 11:30

got about 3.5 miles in before the heat and existing soreness did me in

today wasnt supposed to be my long run anyway but damn it was tough

MadBoFo 05-23-2010 11:33

I'm feeling kind of lazy today, I think maybe today will be a light day

Reno 05-23-2010 11:40

Since I haven't run lately (like 3x in the past few months) I took it easy with ~5 miles (didn't wear the GPS but it was probably like 5.1-.3, I know the route decently well and had a couple little variations today) in ~38 minutes. The weather was PERFECT, about 65F, dry, sunny, no wind.

I ran past a 24 Hour Fitness and seeing people inside on treadmills made me both sad and angry.

Glare 05-23-2010 11:44

nice job

as much as i hated today's weather it's going to get me prepared for summer so it's all good

gotta love people on a treadmill on a perfect day

Reno 05-23-2010 11:49

What is wrong with those people? There's more to total fitness than just exercise.

Glare 05-23-2010 12:00

the treadmill is safe, easy, and predictable

it offers a minimal challenge and gives people a sense of "satisfaction" when they're done

i suppose it is better than doing nothing

Familiar 05-23-2010 14:51

because I want to run on a treadmill that's why

Soup 05-23-2010 15:53

yesterday i rode my bike - 40ish solo ride, got rained out

today i rode my bike- 23 mile slow group ride this morning, 27 mile blazing group ride this afternoon

Vanster 05-23-2010 16:01

Trail running: Stairway To Heaven loop (6miles), Copper Harbor, Michigan. Taking the ferry back to Kanuckistan tomorrow, probably 7 miles running tomorrow somewhere in Ontario. I'm not a fatass any more, but still about 15 pounds overweight. Running is still much easier now than when I first started. :bigthumb:

Bomba 05-23-2010 18:28

did spin class this morning. 30min of intervals on the stair stepper tonight :P
