Fool 07-08-2008 09:02

Funny thing was that even getting back to DC during the 4th of July rush, I have a much greater appreciation for the DC subway now that I've seen NYC's subway.

well

one serves millions of people and was built over 100 years ago

and one was built 40-50 years ago and serves less than a million

Ztir 07-08-2008 09:10

i hate it when my drunken buddies start being heroes when they drink too much

Infinite 07-08-2008 09:10

did anyone jack off in the toilet while someone else was in the shower?

"IM GONNA STAB YOU ******," he yelled, and she started chasing after him finally giving up after half a block. akuma then started doing cartwheels... 3 of em. we were finally right at the train station when akuma approached a row of newspaper metal lockboxes, then proceeded to tackle them, dropping 3 to the ground. mind you the sun is still out, its like 8:20pm and theres a ton of pedestrian traffic in the area. akuma got up and was bleeding profusely from 2 spots on his leg. awesome. we took the train up to 42nd, and i told fancy that we should just drop akuma off at the hotel because he's out of control.

hahahahahahahaha holy ****

i don't wanna give mike too much **** cuz i have been out of control a few times (in college).. but damn that is ****ed up he is 28 years old

Falhawk 07-08-2008 09:26

yeah I think that's the point

everyone probably did stupid **** when they were in college.

but...

Killarmy 07-08-2008 09:34

akuma is ****in tool? shocker

also, being from Boston, it's beyond me why anyone would go out in NYC before midnight.

Fool 07-08-2008 09:43

we mostly went out at night, mostly.

ayz 07-08-2008 09:44

yes except for when we left the museum 2 hours early because we "had" to go meet these chicks who were drinking at a bar that we didn't go to

that was awesome

Falhawk 07-08-2008 09:44

excellent

lol. Nobody calls fool 'Rebecca'

Fireman X 07-08-2008 09:48

I am going out on a limb to say that I feel like Akuma may have started getting crazy like that to make it so you guys could have some 'saying' when the trip is over like you normally do.

Unfortunately, you guys never went for it so he had to up his antics and this is what happens. But I'm willing to bet that if the trip wasn't in NJ/NY, Akuma couldn't afford to go...so keep that in mind for future trips

Arachno 07-08-2008 10:04

Americans really do suck at being drunk.

Discourse 07-08-2008 10:09

I know someone a bit like Akuma. Overtly social and a compulsive liar whose frail ego sits on top of a never ending stream of self-adulating fantasy. This person also cannot handle his liquor although often claims to have drank excessive amounts of it.

lol ya bostons a dream

ReaListik 07-08-2008 10:13

I think we all know someone like him. I personally have 2 friends who have identical personalities. Very likeable (at first), good with women, but really have no concept of what it means to be a true friend. Constantly exaggerating things, promising things they can't deliver, being unreliable.

I keep these 2 guys at a safe distance because I know I can't rely on them as friends. I just call them when it's time to go have some fun, and of course I *never* go anywhere with them if they have planned it because I know it's going to be bull****.

his point is that the bars in boston close stupidly early, usually 1am, so you have to go out early

but since NYC bars close at 4am, it's kind of dumb to be out drinking at 8

bam 07-08-2008 10:18

HeLLrAiSr 07-08-2008 10:19

I wouldn't have minded doing some touristy stuff

I've seen all of it, but at the same time you guys didn't really get to see some of the stuff I take for granted. fragz story is spot on for the most part. i think the weirdest thing for me was how snakes slithered away from the group on a random block in NYC...tricksy

Diablo Escobar 07-08-2008 10:21

who the **** is snakes anyway, from fallen?

ReaListik 07-08-2008 10:23

I think I met snakes but I'm not sure. Some dude from Fallen| let me drive his car and bought me some beer at UVA2.

He was friendly but a bit weird. I dunno who else it could have been from fallen so it must have been him.

HeLLrAiSr 07-08-2008 10:23

yeah that was him

he literally ****in disappeared

im walking with all the guys as mike is ****in flashing half of NYC(and pre-teens) and i turn back around to see if anyone is gone, and sure enough hes nowhere to be seen

Diablo Escobar 07-08-2008 10:25

well to his credit, it sounds like getting the **** away from a liability like akuma wasn't the worst idea

but i trust fraggle, if he thinks he's a fag he's surely a fag, fraggle actually likes everyone, for the most part

HeLLrAiSr 07-08-2008 10:27

i wasn't around for the strip club convo, i was too busy trying to arm wrestle fancy cat

Fancy Cat 07-08-2008 10:29

pretty much spot on but you left off the next 3-4 hours

also i had 4 liters of optimator, i was pretty drunk after that though (i did have 3 tall blue moons and a shot at the applebees prior though)

the mike part was spot on except you didn't really convey the sheer number of people he ran up to, pulled his shirt up at and "freaked" in the street.

he was nuts

i tried to calm him down. I even told him i was going to kick his ass if he didn't act right.

after the newspaper metal box tackle into the street with cars running by in broad daylight, i decided you were right though.

i didn't want to ditch him, but it had to be done. for his own good.

Fool 07-08-2008 10:30

Hellraiser did score a strippers phone number and then got propositioned by a US Air Marshal

Urraca 07-08-2008 10:40

So there are now two, long front page threads lambasting Akuma. I can't wait to see the spin.

sarbuze 07-08-2008 10:51

Sounds like a nice evening, overall! How did akuma act on subsequent nights?

Flunky 07-08-2008 10:54

I'd make fun of Akuma, but I've been "that guy" before myself... and when I was his age too... :o
