Trump should pick Gene Simmons as his running mate.
|
I listened to his entire Atlanta speech. It was really great.
He makes really good points about the US providing the military needs for other countries. One example being how we're obligated to go to war to protect Japan yet they are not obligated to protect us, and they only like 50%-55% of of the rent for the American military staying there and not 100%. He also said that after he criticized NATO for not doing anything on terrorism they created some sort of anti-terrorism division as a reaction. One thing Penn Jillette said which is true is that the people who are voting for Hillary don't even like her. You can even see it here with the few retards who post saying they will vote for her. No one likes her or thinks she will be a good president, that's how weak she is. This is also the soonest the NRA declared for a presidential candidate. |

Rayn is a good example of what's happening to American voters.
He was probably confused and amused when Trump announced he was running. Then he just silently sat by and saw more and more, and now he's more enthusiastic and serious about Trump than he's ever been for presidential candidate. He's late to the party, but he's all in to make America great again. |

Economic isolation and protectionist policies would be the death knell for the US economy.
The US does need to hold trade partners more accountable on their end and need to do more to retrain workers displaced by industries that are outsourced though. |
Since when did Democrats become globalists? I find that strange. The party that *****es about corporations now does the bidding for the ultra-rich globalists.

our purchasing power would diminish significantly, so regardless of the impact on low skilled worker incomes, the net effect would be a huge negative for the entire country economically. limiting the flow of goods & services through taxes, tariffs, etc creates inefficiencies and distorts markets. that doesn't mean there isn't a place for those things to ensure equal & fair playing field (eg to counter other government subsidies, lax safety regulations in other places, etc), but the idea that we can magically bring back a bunch of low skilled jobs to restore the power of the american middle class and magically growing our economy while also significantly reducing our access to a global market of 6+ billion people (which is what you would do by imposing a bunch of taxes and tariffs on imports) in the name of 'making america great again' is ****ing asinine. |

cheep labor is only a part of it, I really doubt people want to go back to the massive pollution that's generated as a byproduct of manufacturing.
you don't have to look that hard to find the lingering effects of pollution from when we did have large industrial manufacturing. |
