Americans seem to be stuck in the past and too stupid to see that or too lazy to do anything about it.

Every think they should be able to live just like their great grandfathers. Graduating high school (that they probably did ****ty at anyway) and be able to pick up a job that allows them to buy a house, car, raise a couple kids and put them through school.

The only reason that our grandfathers and great grandfathers had those kind of lives in their late 20's and early 30's was because in their late teens and early 20's they were busy bombing flat every other manufacturing base and infrastructure on the planet. Businesses HAD to keep jobs here. The cost of shipping alone was a hindrance until about the mid/late 40's and by that time all these third world nations we currently farm our work out to were smoldering piles of ash.

At this point I wouldn't be surised if Cruz loyalists try to rat **** Trump at the RNC but I would imagine Cruz himself would rather just run against Hillary's second term with an actual campaign built up around him than take over this dumpster fire.

Cruz had a super dooper powerful grassroots campaign, lots of advisers at the state level and he got creamed by Trump.

Competing to appeal to the Republican base is different than competing to find and talk to undecided voters in battleground states. When you're polling so far behind nationally that states like az are in danger of flipping blue you desperately need to win close bg states like ohio. Being behind in Ohio by a few points and having no ground game there is bad news when you're living or dying by it.

The point is he's even with a ****load less people working. He can hire more people moving forward easily, there isn't much more she can do.
