I was lucky enough to play a game called Legions in the recent past. It almost mimics the Tribes style of gameplay CTF and DM.

It was just a shell really but changes are on the way. The devs changed hands and old tribes fans who were prominent leaders in the Legions community have a contract to continue the legions project. They plan to add elements such as base assets and everything. We will know more about whats going on around X-mass. but the game will be a stand alone free game. I hope you would consider to come fly around a lil and check things out a bit.
