I'm really not into the "anime" cartoons either. I watch more classic stuff usually. Death note is interesting. I would have kept watching it if I had cable. I don't even know if the show is still around? But I remember watching it and thinking it was interesting. Just watch a couple episodes. If you like it, keep watching. If not, then don't.
