    Oh, and today when I did the olive bread, I braided it and coiled it into a loop (necessary pun) in my dutch oven. Turned out the best loaf I've ever made.
    Totally for serious: thanks so much for the no-knead recommendation. I'd heard about it dozens of times but, in my stubborness never tried it. Last week, I made a first attempt at no-knead white bread using that NYT article (turned out awful). Since then I've started trying my own 'knead' recipes, no-knead style, and it worked awesome for tomato-basil, rosemary-olive, sun-dried tomato-cheese, sourdough, Hungarian peasant (celery seed), and even coffee cake. Total clean up time: maybe 30 minutes. Thanks again.
