yeah, i was youtubing them after you posted, can't believe i missed them, good stuff. kinda a monty python meets frank zappa
Haha. I love degrassi. I still follow it to this day.

As for me and mandarb, it's forever an e love as I'm fairly certain we are both seeing people in real life. :p
I don't think it defines me by any means. Hell, I have no idea. If it makes you feel better, I get told that I sound like I'm from California all the time. I have this whole valley girl accent going on apparently.
If I got offended/angry anytime that someone stereotyped Texas, I'd never quit being mad. I think it's pretty funny, actually. I enjoy the stereotype, honestly. When I first moved to South Carolina, a person legit asked me if we rode cows to school. COWS. TO SCHOOL. I laughed so hard I cried.
I don't mind if people are from somewhere else. I don't treat them any differently. It's more of a "secretly, I feel slightly superior." type thing. I don't think it makes them less of a person. I certainly don't think they deserve to be treated like crap or anything like that. It's just a pride thing. I am super guilty of it. Like...you're from Canada, right? So what? You're not better than me, and I'm not better than you. I just FEEL like I am. Doesn't mean that is actually the case.
Are pride and arrogance not the same thing? I believe that they are. The only thing that I am guilty of is loving Texas more than anyone else not from Texas. I see nothing wrong with that. So what if I think I'm slightly better than someone because of where I'm from? I believe everyone feels that way honestly. Now, whether they admit it or not is another thing. Texans just tend to have more pride than anyone else. I don't think that makes us terrible. We're (at least I am) still quite pleasant otherwise.
The only one that I live up to is the Texas pride. Not sure what the others are, but if you let me know, I will happily confirm/deny. :)
