jacket is made by west beach. it's a few seasons old, I wanna say I got it in 2010, maybe 2011.
looking at the tag it says: "West Beach BC Bud Jacket" - the material is some combination of hemp and polyester. it gives it a cool texture / look, but doesn't do very well in wet conditions. it's only 10,000mm waterproof - i think gortex is like 30,000mm...
it's a good jacket though, well constructed, lots of pockets where you want them, and it'll keep you warm. good luck!
