[Mega] MAGA Super Trump Mega Thread

This post below is just too good to pass up.
The average American loves this shit.
They don't understand tariffs, windfall profit taxes, what the secretary of state does (or who it is). . .they don't understand how a bill becomes law, and neither does their hero Trump.

Trailer parks and TW do not care about foreign policy or ambassadorship, they want to know who fucked whom and when. Stormy owns the American media right now, because that's who most Americans are.

They know that just about every country on the planet that the US trades with has tariffs on US goods. It's nothing more than a tax placed on foreign goods in an attempt to get the people of a nation to buy the same product made with national labor, rather than international labor, typically owned by US/EU multinational corporations that are taking advantage of the dirt cheap labor.

I am going to go out on a limb here assuming that you, Van, do not agree with tariffs?

Which is kind of ironic, seeing as how you more than likely do not agree with tariffs that protect national labor. A windfall tax is no different than a tariff, except that instead of placing a tax on a foreign good, its placed on national goods or services, only instead of protecting the national goods, it's used as a way to FORCE the company to lower their prices... by taxing it to death. (Great logic)

It, like a tariff, is part of a command economy and is bad for business. With each, the government involves itself into the so-called free market by taxing a good or service to protect a certain group of people, commanding its citizens to purchase something elsewhere, or not purchase it at all.

You agree with one set of protections and with the other set of protections, you do not agree with. Command economies.... aren't they fun?

This is funny.

Sec of State has a very dirty job. Their only real role is to make sure foreign governments behave in a way that benefits US & EU multinational corporations. They are the ones who dictate which foreign nations get hit by the CIA jackals when a US/EU corporation discovers valuable natural resources these corporations want ownership of.

They respond directly to the Council on Foreign Relations. But, don't take my word for it, let's take hers.

As far as I can tell, the US foreign policy does not reflect what we the meager citizens want but, what the corporations above ^ want.

And apparently, neither do you. Because if you did, you wouldn't ask this question. The days of politicians writing bills are long gone. Today, its corporations (like above ^) and lobbyists that write the bills, and the State Legislature that pass these bills.

Ever hear of American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC)? Probably not but, they are a corporation that specializes in getting bills written by corporations, passed.

And that is just 1 of them.

These days are over

You and the left are the only groups of people that appear to be interested in who Trump humped. And just like with Clinton, I can give 2 shits less about it.

pretty telling that the trumpers on tw don't blink an eye when young children are being sent to prison camps in texas, but we lock up one rich white guy and HOLY SHIT THE JUSTICE SYSTEM IS INHERENTLY FLAWED

Name one TWer who is saying the justice system is flawed because Manafort got sent to jail. I'll grant you the not blinking an eye about children in texas tent cities, because you certainly didn't give a shit when they were put in cages under Obama.

wow that was hard I only had to look up.. uh, 5 posts.

The Trump administration is currently building the tent city for kids at a military base as we speak, so I'm not sure how Obama bears responsibility for a tent city being built 2 years after his term ended. Nice try.
