Nothing wrong with strippers. But the first thing you learn when you date a stripper is you don't date strippers
 
my cousin dated penny flame back in middle school but i'm pretty sure that's before she started porn.

This week Ames was at the center of controversy within the industry stemming from a tweet she sent out on Dec. 3, saying she was cancelling her booking the following day because her scene partner had previously performed in gay scenes. This stance was perceived by many observers as “homophobic,” generating a series of tweets over the next two days that were critical of both her original post and subsequent ones she made defending it. Many of today's tweets reacting to Ames' passing have bemoaned the "cyber-bullying" she received from those who took issue with her comments on the matter.

And what a stupid reason to die over, as well. She obviously wasn't 100% there, but at the same time the amount of vitriol that gets thrown at people on the Internet is absurd.

It's common for them to bit a bit "off" in some form or other, given the line of work. That said, it's an acting job like any other; if your detractors get enough leverage to start campaigns to get you fired, then you're sunk. Reputation is a big factor in how you get (or don't get) work.
