I remember the day very clearly. I was trying to film airplanes flying in the sky for a opening on our news program. I saw no planes at all which was very weird because our high school is pretty close to a airport. Then the principal comes over the intercom and tells the teachers to turn on the tv. I instantly thought Osama was behind it.

i was getting into my carpools car to school and it still hadn't sunk in by the time i was getting out of the car (30 mins later).

all the people i work with now were in the wtc. gonna be a wierd atmosphere around the office tomorrow. :(

I found out when i went to the infirmary at my military school. The TV was on and everyone was staring at it blankly, i then broke the news to everyone i saw. Then everyone sat in front of the TV in shock for the rest of the day...

Damn good thing it didn't hit lower on the tower. That much structural damage on the lower floors might have compromised the structural integrity of the building.

As cool as it sounds, having a building of that size collapse would be extremely terrifying.
