Well IMO this is going to get a lot worse. "America is changed forever" as one person said. A coordinated attack like this happening without being detected, shows us just how vulnerable we are. We can forget about the illusion of safety we have had for so many years.

No but you make it so no country will even think about harboring any terrorist organization. If they know for a fact their country will be bombed heavily if they harbor or give assylum to a terrorist organization then they terrorists have fewer places to hide and less support.

Exactly, giving safe haven a terrorist is the same as harboring a criminal in your own house. You are nearly just as guilty for allowing such acts to take place. Lets see some action here against Bin Laden.

An alliance of the most powerful countries in the world? You bet your ass if the U.S. declares war on any and all terrorism that most of the world will be right behind us. Good God.

My deepest sympathy to all who have lost someone close to them in this attack. I am so filled with both rage and sorrow over this that i could scream. I can only hope that we are somehow able to find who did this and punish them properly.

Janes Defense Weekly reported a few weeks back that Bin Ladin had some major league shit planned 'within the month'.

AA has been putting out at least one advisory every other day about threats for at least the last 3 weeks.

Somebody knew something. :(

Doppler was showing abolutely clear skies before this happened. Now....looks like a fucking fallout zone. That doppler image is fucking evil.

Yeah, but you don't expect these things against civilians. I can see them blowing up military vessels and such, but the is extremely coldhearted.

I don't mean to sound like the extremist but what better way to get the funds you have proposed than to have terrorist attacks on the U.S.? With all the warnings this should have been prevented. We also have a terrorist watch list that I am sure alot of these people are on. Fuckin bullshit that we could not prevent it.
