I have always thought Mc Cain should have been elected President. He has the force and drive to get things done and will not wimp out.

i just saw some jackass on nbc say something to the effect of "HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA THEY HIT THE WRONG SIDE OF TEH PENTAGON WHERE THE CHIEFS OF STAFF LIVE" wtf? do they think they're gonna AIM for the exact OFFICES within the pentagon? come on.

I was a bit shocked that McCain said bastards as well, though he did speak his mind. He is correct in his assessment though. Anytime we have found out that a terrorist act was state sponsored, we have reacted accordingly......Taliban on......more later....

Geezus, I am still in shock and my stomache is still very upset. It is 1 am here (Hong Kong) and there is not way that I will be able to get any sleep. :(

some of the changes that will occur in our country because of this:

1) air marshals on every flight with shoot to kill orders

2) pilots instructed in how to kamikaze plane safely so only those on the aircraft will die.

3) fighter aircraft on combat air patrol over all major cities so that if a plane is hijacked, it will be shot down if it tries to get anywhere near a major metropolitan center.

4) increased budgets for defense, intelligence and missile defenses.

5) the eventual extermination of the entire organization responsible for this.

6) preemptive strikes against any and all organizations that look like they may be a threat to the United states.

we will have our revenge, and if the government won't do it, the american people will, one way or another.

what an idiot...they didnt care about that...just that they could hit it was enought to put fear in the minds of America...The act itself was the target.

To those who think this tragic event does not affect their lives (*cough teqnik*), keep laughing cause your stupidity will catch up to you sooner or later.

The World Trade Center is a major hub for WORLD-WIDE business. Just look at the name - World Trade Center. In the 100+ floors of each tower, crucial documents and computer data centers are stored there. Those documents and computers are now either burned up or sitting under tons of rubble.

The loss of information and lives from this tragic event is going to ripple through to every country in the world...especially the ENTIRE United States.

Your credit card company could have had their headquaters on one of the many floors of the buildings and now all their data is lost. Maybe the company that does the payroll for company you work for was in the building. An immeasurable amount of extremely important data and people are now forever lost. Just imagine what is going to happen to the economy after this disaster. Many major financial instutions are based in those towers.

The only thing thats certain is that the world is forever changed after this day.

Hell isn't the pentagon built to withstand attacks like this? I think they could have selected better targets(capital hill).
